JACKSON HOLE WHITE WATER RAFTING TRIP, June y 1; July and July Enjoy white water rafting on the Snake River and a visit to a real western town. The trip leaves Bldg. 13-1- 29-Jul- 27-2- the first day and return between 4:30 and 5 p.m. on the last day. The cost is $1 15 per person and includes transportation, campground for two nights, raft and equipment, trip leader and four meals. Participants must be at least eight years or older and bring camping gear, water shoes, rain gear, towels, sunscreen, personal items and money for two lunches, and one breakfast. KING'S PEAK BACKPACKING TRIP, Hikers should be in good physJuly ical condition for this difficult round trip to the highest peak in Utah. The cost is $24 per person and includes transportation, backpacks if needed, trip leader and snacks. Hikers must be 12 or older and bring camping gear, food and water, water purifier, money for two lunches and personal items. The trip leaves at 7:30 a.m. July 6 from and returns around 6 p.m. July 8 to Outdoor Recreation. Bldg. 524. CARTER CREEK CABINS: The Carter 524 at 9:30 a.m. on Outdoor Recreation 5; 9. 6-- 8. 13-mi- le Creek Cabins, located approximately 105 miles from Hill AFB in the beautiful Uintah Mountains, are opening for the season Friday. There are five cabins that sleep five people, and one cabin that sleeps seven people. They have refrig- erators, running water, stoves and feamicrowave ovens. The camp also tures three pads, three tent sites, RV shower facilities, picnic tables and recreational areas for volleyball and horseshoes. The cabins are normally open until Nov. 1 each year.
