Robert D. Nielson, BLM state director for Utah, said the first meeting will be July 25 at 8 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Mioab. In addition there will be a 1:00 p.m. meeting on of the July 28 in Room Salt Lake City Federal Bldg. The new procedures to require issuance of special land use permits is an action by BLM to coordinate uses of the public lands and to minimize impacts on the resources, Mr Nielson explained. A grant of $75,691 was award ed Lew G. Choules, PhD., who is directing a' study of "The Structural Lipoprotein of .Mycoplasma Membranes" in' the anticipation of providing additional information of the origin and structure of cell membranes on the molecular level. In emphasizing the importance of the cancer research work being conducted at the University of Utah, Dr. Nielsen noted that this is made possible entirely through contributions.
