Certainly there is enough at stake in this move to strike out the Connally Amendment provisions to cause every citizen to look carefully into its ramifications. Some high Government officials favor knocking out the Connally Amendment. They say it would make their job in international diplomacy easier. They say the U. N. appointed judges on the World Court would not usurp the powers of our Government. But who can be sure, with Communists and Socialists wielding great power in the U. Sprinkle water over mixture. Blend lightly with spatula. Use as little water as possible. Press in waxed paper to form into a ball. Knead 3 times. Cover. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before rolling out. Lightly flour pastry cloth or board and covered rolling pin. Filling: Combine 4 cups drained cooked tart cherries with 1 cups pastry sugar, 2'i tablespoons flour and teaspoon salt. Put Into lined pie pan. Dot with butter or margarine. Cover with top crust or lattice, folding edge of top crust over bottom crust. Press firmly to seal well. Flute edge.
