The first and second grades furnished the program and Judy Bruce, Jimmy Tamllos and Billy "Rex" Jewkes played several musical numbers on their flutes. It was voted to purchase for the school library. Mrs. Grace Christensen's room wen the banner for having the most new-book- dino, California. Mr. and Mrs. Clint Bryan of Ferron were Tuesday visitors at the home cf their son, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Bryan. Also their son, Roger, who is employed at Sperry Rand in" Clearfield, was home with them for the weekend. Mrs. Lucy Russo, who has been making her home here with her sister, Mrs. Andy Pappas, will stay in Ogden with another sister, Mrs. Jack Phillips, until Mrs. Pappas returns. The Cub Scouts held their regular den meeting last Wednesday night at the scout house. They discussed the program they will have Wednesday night to celebrate the Cub Scouts 50th anniversary. Cub Scout Master, George Tamllos, was in charge and den mothers, Charmaine Mathews and Zoe Davis, assisted. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Blackham and children motored to Payson and spent the weekend with his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Glade s parents present. Several Kenilworth ladies attended the nurses bridge party held Thursday night at Helper. Mrs. Viola Jewkes was the hostess for the group. Those attending were Mrs. Olive Huges, Mrs. Stella Fulton, Mrs. Marilyn Scorzato, Mrs. Frankie Harris, Mrs. Norine Jewkes, Mrs. Jennie Pol-v- e and special guest, Mrs. Charlotte Walrath from Kenilworth, Mrs. Marion Robinson of Price, and Mrs. Hope Nielsen, Mrs. Ray Kloepfer and Mrs. Mary Chiara of Helper. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrall Johnson and children of Ogden were weekend visitors here with her sisters, Mrs. LeNore Peterson and Mrs. Allen Christensen. Also spending the weekend with the Christensen's were Mr. and Mrs. John Rudman of Sunnyside. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Christensen of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vic Christensen and Bishop and Mrs. George Richards. Miss Judy Rudman of Sunny-sid- e spent the weekend here with her friend, Miss Larraine Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Pappas boarded the train in Helper Friday night for an indefinite stay at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Luke Pappas, in San Berna- - But-terfie- ld. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Neilsen were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Allington and her brother, Frank, who has just returned home from Louisiana where he ' served in the LDS mission field. They are Salt Lake City residents. Mr. Frank Olsen of Pocatello, Idaho, spent a few days here with his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Vic Christensen. Their Sunday dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Rav Christensen and children of Price. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Jewkes and children of Salt Lake City were weekend guests here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jewkes. Mrs. Marion Roper spent the week in Huntington with her mother-in-laMrs. Oliver Ropier, who has been ill. Their son, Ronald, who is attending school at the BYU in Provo, spent the weekend here with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Branch and daughter of Logan are spending a few days here with her mother, Mrs. Louise Belich. Mr. and Mrs. Sheron Kanto visited here over the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kantor.
