Editor; Deanna Roger's f- Assistant Editors GaNene Smith Geri Ruggeri HALLOWEEN Of all the nights in the year, none is more mysterious nor stirs the imagination than Halloween, for on that night hobgoblins, spirits, witches, fairies and all types of strange people come out from hiding and dash around in the fields and get wearily to their feet and start to happily dauce It is no wonder thatVen pumpkins of all sizes start to dance. Halloween is a merry festival in October just as May Day is in the spring, but the people changed its meaning by telling exciting stories of witches and spirits The stories were nearly always told while groups of people were at sitting around large the edge of the woods. It was easy to gather a feeling of mystery and excitement as the flames danced in the shadows. An owl hooting drearily added to the fascination of the night. It seems that Helper Central School is really ready for Halloween. Our school lunch room has Mrs. very spooky decorations. Chiara's room has decorated the bulletin board with October scenes, witches and pumpkins.
