J. Carlson family. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rhodes and family left Thursday morning for Emma, Colorado, where they will stay visiting relatives until the mines resume work. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gibson and children are camping in Huntington canyon while taking in a bit of fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Waldron and son, Eddie, spent two days this week in Elko, Nevada, but because of the terrific heat they returned home to spend their vacation. The Howard Stevens family left Friday afternoon for Mapleton where they will take care of their fruit farm. Mr. and Mrs. Venor Oldroyd will spend their vacation at their home in Salina making repairs upon the house. Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Jones and baby, Nedra, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jones will spend the week throughout Colorado visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sillitoe and family left Thursday to spend their vacation motoring through out California. Another family headed Califor nia way on Friday morning was that of Evan James. M. T. Oakley, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Willie Brewer and family, left for Herrin, Illinois, last Thursday evening. The following is the temporary schedule now in effect: 10 to 11:30 a. m., children from ages 8 to 12 inclusive will meet in the area of the scout house on the ball diamond where they will be directed in games, story telling, Softball, handicraft, etc. 2:00 to 3:30 p. m., boys and girls from ages 13 to 16 inclusive will meet at the softball diamond where games of softball, baseball, vol leyball, tennis, etc., will be under way. Volleyball and basketball courts are being installed to aid in the program. The purpose of the program is to provide leisure time activities for all age groups.
