WE DELIVER Mr & Mrs Roy McMullin returned home last Saturday evening, after a business trip to Kanosh, Cedar City, St. George and other points south. Mrs A E Buckley was the guest of honor at a birthday dinner at her home Thursday evening. The dinner guests included Mr & Mrs Wallace Williams of Magna, Mr & Mrs Millard Williams, and Mr & Mrs Mark Williams of West J ordan, and Mrs Lester Buckley of Midvale, and members of the immediate family. Dr & Mrs J S Alley attended the wedding reception Wednesday night of Jack AUey of Bancroft, Idaho, and Mary Jean Broadbent, of Salt Lake City, in the Garden P ar.k ward. Jack is a former student ol the University of Utah, and is now enrolled at the Un- Mrs Lynn J Iverson, of Tremonton is spending two weeks in Midvale for a visit with Mrs Blaine Watts. Newest member of the Bowen family is the tiny daughter of Mr & Mrs Harry Bowen. She was born January 25. Pic & Mrs Paul Stanford were very unfortunate last week when they were "skidded-into," and their car suffered a few dents. Tech Sgt Peter Rasmussen arrived last ~aturday in Brownwood, Texas, and promptly assumed dutles at Camp Bowie, Texas. He was transferred from Fort Knox, Ky . At a family gathering, supper was served by Miss Aria Johnson in honor of her grandmother. M1·s Andersen, who has four grandsons in the armed forces, says that "she is well and happy, and is grateful to be Jiving in Amerka with her children:• CITY PHYSICIANQUITS The resignation of Dr R W Quick as city health officer was accepted at Tuesday night's meeting of the Midvale city council. Dr Quick has sold his home on Allen street and has moved to Idaho to make his home.
