Show Ogden by her parents, Mr. and M~s. H. c. Hart and all spent New Year's day with relatives there. Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Todd, Jr., and family have moved to their new place of residence on East Center Street. Mrs. s. J. Taylor and Miss Marvel Taylor of Lehi, were guests at the H. C. Hart home on East Center St. part of the week. Miss Jean Brown of Salt Lake was a guest of Miss Lucile Pearson last wepk end. j bel Rosse, ·party New Years Eve. Games were played at small tables and a late supper was served to 16 guests. Mrs. H. C. Aylett left during the week to join her husband in Los Angeles. They will visit their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell H. Aylett. Mrs. E. J. Knowles and daughter, Louise, are spending the holidays with relatives at the Coast. Friday evening of last week Miss Mr. and Mrs. Ben s. Green and paughter, Dorothy, and son, Howard, spent Thursday evening of last week at the Stokes home on Locust St. The many friends of Miss Florence Peckham will be interested to know that her engagement to Burnell Jarvis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Jarvis, of Spanish Fork, has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. J. Peckham. Mr. and Mrs. William Wat-ers entertained' New Year's day. The guests numbered twelve. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Smith of Magna were from out of town. Members and their husbands were entertained. Dinner was served to siKteen. The regular meeting of the Community club was held Wednesday. Plans for·the decoration and furnishing of the new club home were discussed. Miss Gladys Wilson of Pocatella, I-daho, was a guest early in the week of her cousin, Miss Lillian Hart. Francine Quick and Miss Edna O'Connor entertained at a skating party at the Odeon in Salt Lake. A late supper was served at the Quick home to twenty guests. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Wilkinson and children of Los Angeles, Calif., spent the holidays at the home of Mrs. Wilkinson's mother, Mrs. W. C. Miller. Mrs. Miller entertained at a family dinner in their honor on Christmas day. In compliment to Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Wilkinson of Los Angeles, who are here on a visit, Mrs. L. C. Canning entertained at a family dinner Sunday. ...1r. and Mrs. Lawrence Caldwell '-' of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Eph Davis of Gooding, Idaho, were entertained Wednesday of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Hobbs. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Miller entertained their aunt Mrs. Mary Edwards of Salt Lake on New Year's Day. Mrs. J. L. Meyers is visiting relatives in Leadville, Colo. Mrs. Pearl Bodell entertained at a party last Friday for the children of the Third Grade, where they enjoyed a Christmas Tree.
