In many instan ces fires have been started entirel y to close to fences and buildin g and in other instan ces have been BJbandoned shortly after they were started . Seriou s fires may result from such actions . While it is a good practic e to burn fallen leaves, care should be ex.·Midvale has been exceed ingly fortuerci~(·d in so doing. nate in having very few fires the past year and let's try to keep the record good these few remain ing montn s. Start your rubbis h fires far enough away from all obstructi ons to play safe. Stay with the fire until it is completely burned out-a nd put out.
