The evaluation is a preliminary for the Hennessy Trophy that's awarded to the "Best Dining Facility in the United States Air Force." Gordon Pendell, Air Force Materiel Command Food Service Officer, and TSgt. William Hunnewell, AFMC Troop Support Specialist, are this year's Gold Plate team members. "We have prepared informational packets highlighting all of the accomplishments and innovations that have happened itation, repair maintenance and management. The serving and dining operations category is weighed more heavily than other categories. It includes subcategories like guest services, pleasing atmosphere, since the evaluation team was here last year," said 2nd Lt Catherine Wiener. "That and many other things have been done as well as dealing with all of the logistics that are required for incoming palatability and plate waste, food display, serving temperatures and guest relations and communications. "Customer comments are looked at by the judges," Wiener said. "The judging criteria is based on our response to those personnel."
