Upon ar- rival, they determined an individual was assaulted. The suspects were apprehended, cited and will appear in magistrate court for assault. Security Police also responded to another domestic disturbance report during the week and a report was filed. Drunk and disorderly Law enforcement officials respond- ed to a report of a disorderly individual attempting to initiate a fight in one of the dormitories. The subject was located and detained. Alcohol was involved in the incident, and a breath level of test showed a blood-alcoh.123. The subject was arrested and a report was filed. Driving under the influence A vehicle was stopped for driving the wrong way on a street. The driver was arrested after she failed sobriety tests and couldn't give a proper breath sample which constitutes a refusal. She will appear in magistrate court, and her driver's license will be revoked for one year. l Another vehicle was stopped for erratic driving. The driver failed a sobriety test and his breath test showed a level of .163. (Utah's legal limit is .08.) He will also appear in magistrate court. after debarment Entering female who was barred from Hill $AVE eng., Silverado, beautiful xlt, of private property Base exchange security notified the 75th SPS of possible Delayed Payment Plan fraud. A police investigation traced the receipts and identified the suspect. The suspect, while stationed in Texas, found a wallet belonging to another military member and proceeded to withdraw $400 from the member's bank account. Upon arriving at Hill on March 17, the suspect made four DPP charges against the other military member's account. The suspect was contacted and a search of the airman's room led to his arrest, recovery of all property and the other member's wallet, including the contents. The airman was charged with theft andraud and is subject to military penalties. SPORT 1 .- theft and fraud VEHICLES N STOCK! D X-C- i.f-J- A housing occupant notified the 75th SPS that some of her outgoing mail was missing from her mailbox. Two juveniles were detained by the 75th Security Police Squadron for playing with stolen property. The property was taken from a base housing occupant. The juveniles will face disciplinary action. 1 bogs. to appear on a traffic violation. South Ogden police were called and arrested the subject. During the normal body search, marijuana was found and additional charges were filed. Two other individuals who were also stopped and whose licenses were checked were found to have outstanding warrants. They were arrested and turned over to civil police. A AFB was discovered in the Enlisted Club. Law enforcement officials learned she recently remarried and used her new name to get on base. She was charged with entering the base after being debarred, escorted off the base, cited, and will appear in magistrate court. She faces a maximum fine of $10,000. blood-alcoh- assault Drunkdisorderly, A and Air between Marines fight Force personnel broke out at the Enlisted Club. All involved parties were located and charged. Alcohol was a factor in the incident. Hit and run Failure to appearand drug possession Hill's West Gate sentry A military member reported his vehicle was hit by another car in a dor- stopped a civilian entering the base. A routine check of his driver's license showed he had an outstanding warrant for failure mitory parking lot. The hit and run vehicle was located and the suspect was contacted and apprehended. Forgery, false claim result in courts-martiby Capt. Don M. Christensen Chief of Military Justice Two members of the 388th Maind tenance Squadron were for involvement in a check forgery plan. Amn. Eric Gordnar falsely reported his checkbook stolen. Amn. William Yorty then forged Gordner's signature on the checks. Local merchants who accepted the checks lost several thousand dollars of merchandise, A Security Police investigation solved the case and obtained a confession from both airmen. On March 22, Gordner pleaded guilty to conspiracy, theft and false official statement. Gordner was sentenced by to be reduced to general court-martithe grade of airman basic, six months' confinement and a bad conduct discharge. After confessing to the first forgery incident, Yorty stole his roommate's checkbook and forged checks at several local restaurants. He was ordered to court-martiale- pretrial confinement. During a hearing Yorty lied under oath concerning bis involvement with the stolen checks. On Jan. 18 Yorty pleaded guilty to conspiracy, writing insufficient funds checks, theft, making a false official statement, forgery and theft of phone services. Yorty was convicted by general and sentenced to be reduced to the grade of airman basic, forfeit $200 of pay per month for 20 months, confinement for 20 months and a bad conduct discharge. SrA. Christopher Cong, 729th Air Control Squadron, was convicted of making a false claim at a court-martion March 21. Long pleaded not guilty and claimed he had made a mistake. Long and another airman went TDY last September and the other airman paid for all travel expenses. Long filed a claim for travel related expenses totaling $831. He was sentenced to be reduced to the grade of airman basic and to be confined for 45 days. court-marti- . al . al |
