William Valentine, the Family Day coordinator this year, said he is extremely pleased with the outcome and especially wants to thank Col. David Tanzi, 419th commander, for allowing the wing to have the event. "It was strictly his call," said Valentine. In addition, he expressed appreciation to Karl Malone Enterprises and all the volunteers who helped make the day a success. Reservists can express their comments on any aspect of Family Day, positive as well as negative, through the 419th FW Action Line. "We are gathering as much feedback as possible now in order to make next year's event an even greater success," said Valentine. get-togeth- er Xim tml : ; CI j '??"V ( 1J it 4'-- ' ' i Photos by Maj. With 1994 being the fighter squadron's 50th andepicting the different aircraft niversary, flown over the years proved to be a popular item during the wing's Family Day. "I'd say we sold approximately 120 or more," commented Maj. Edward G. Goggins of the 466th, who helped coordinate the sale of the shirts. Although the good response was welcomed, Goggins noted the squadron doesn't place a heavy emphasis on the results. "We're not in this as a business," he said. "Any profit received will go into the 'diamond-bac- k fund' to buy gifts for members who get married or have babies, etc." T-shi- rts P-4- 7, F-8- 4, F-10- 5, F-1- 6. F-1- 6. k. T-shi- Photo by SSgt.
