Lyles said he acquired the best job in the Air Force May 27 as he assumed command of Ogden Air Logistics Center. "I've been trying to think of the words to express the momentum of this whole occasion, and the only thing I can come up with is, 'Wow,' '' Lyles said at the change of command ceremony, which took place on the steps of Bldg. 1102. "To command a center in this command has to be the pinnacle of a career aspiration. This is something all of us in the acquisition and support community have always wanted to do." Though he has risen to this summit, Lyles promises to press on, with the help of Col. Charles Perez, Ogden ALC's new vice commander; the work force; and the support of the community. "Both Colonel Perez and I have a vision and common goal.
