Show June 25, 1992 5 Hilltop Times 67 tech sergeants selected for promotion The Air Force selected 6,268 technical sergeants for promotion to master sergeant during the 93A7 cycle. The selectees were notified June 18. Sixty-seve- n of the selectees are Hill AFB people or projected gains to Hill. A total of 32,603 eligibles Air Force-wid- e were considered, for an overall selection rate of 19.23 percent. In Air Force Logistics Command, 799 people were eligible and 147 were selected, for an 18.4 percent selection rate. The average score for all the selectees was 340.07 points, based on: Time in grade, 34.3 points. Time in service, 32.59 points. Performance reports, 132.95 points. Decorations, 7.62 points. Promotion fitness examination, 66.99 points. Specialty knowledge test, 71.23 points. Average time in grade is 4.55 years, average time in service is 15.12 years, and average age is 35. Promotions to master sergeant are based on the combined value of TIG, TIS, performance reports, decorations, PFE and SKT.
