Show membership AIPA roeks fff HILL TOP TIMES Friday, April 24, 117 17 drive; Air Force leaders endorse campaign naThe Air Force Association, a 230,000-membtional organization that works to build grassroots support for Air Force people, kicked off their annual membership drive Monday. It will continue through May 29. The Air Force Association boasts a wider underto asstanding of the need for aerospace strength " members. sociation "Every single member "can have an impact on AFA's ability to serve both the nation and Air Force," said Air Force Association president Sam E. Keith. "By joining AFA, Air Force personnel will strengthen AF A programs that bring all Americans, particularly those in the private sector, the facts about the dangers we face and the strength we need to be secure." Key Air Force leaders have endorsed the AFA drive, including Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Larry D. Welch and the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force James C. Binnicker. AFA is open to all U.S. citizens. Chapters are lo er cated in more than 325 communities throughout the country and at many overseas locations. These chapters provide an important forum for building local community support for military needs. There are six chapters located in Utah. memDues are $18 per year or $48 for a three-yea- r bership. Life memberships are also available for a e fee of $300. AFA members enjoy many varied benefits, including the highly regarded Air inForce Magazine, eligibility for several low-cosurance programs, automobile leasing and purchasing programs, car rental discounts' and an one-tim- st AFAVISA card.
