Auction The auction is held in Bldg. starting 9 a.m. June 22. The public is encouraged to bid on more than 270 items, which will be on display from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 17 S-8- at through the auction date, according to . DRMO officials. A complete list of items, sales terms and conditions may be seen at Bldg. Registration for the auction begins at 8 a.m. auction day. No screenings will be allowed after the sale begins, they said. Bidders must be present and registered to bid. Mailed bids cannot be accepted. Items purchased may be removed on auction day, provided they are paid for in full. Items for sale include: cash registers, filing cabinets, 0. compressors, truck tire, tool toters, portable toolboxes, steel grating, shelving, storage racks, hoists, meat saw, meat chopper, shipping containers, scale and office furniture. Children of active duty and retired members who are losing coverage because of age are eligible for the insurance until 90 days after their 21st birthday or 90 days after their 23rd birthday if they are e students, they said. In addition, it will cover dependent grandchildren under the age of 19 who live with active duty or retired military people. Also eligible are minor wards and children as long as they're not covered by governmental health care programs. According to DOD officials, the plan responded to a congressional request to provide eligibility losers with comprehensive care equal to that offered through the Civilian Health and Medical Plan of the Uniformed Services. The U.S. government does not contribute to the policy's costs. However, the services have agreed to help publicize the plan, help individuals determine and prove eligibility and enroll separating members who will be informed about U.S. VIP as part of separation counseling. Persons interested in the plan must act quickly. There is a limited enrollment period 30 days after the date of separation for members and families leaving active duty and 90 days after qualifying for all others. Editor's note:.
