In the first incident, a car parked at the southeast corner of Bldg. 523 was impounded after security police noticed the license plate and inspection sticker had expired. In the second incident, a car was impounded after it had been parked longer than the maximum amount of time in a restricted parking zone. fase'rwe.. Crime Prevention Week Crime Prevention Week will be observed Wednesday with a series ofevents to be held from 4:30 to 8 p.m. in the base theater. Throughout the evening, base security police and police from neighboring jurisdictions will fingerprint children for identification purposes. Fingerprinting is used nationwide to identify abduction victims, according to police. In most cases, the prints are stored at the children's homes for referral by police and parents. Other items on Wednesday's agenda include a Halloween safety tip quiz, a canine demonstration, a stranger danger film and a crime prevention display.
