During the winter months he is crew leader for base snow control projects. He hails from Philipsburg, Pa., where he attended high school and majored in diesel engine mechanics. He entered the Air Force in September of 1982 upon completion of technical school at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. A1C Carl Scott in the CE pavement shop and has volunteered to be controller for 140 personnel in the pavements and grounds section. He is also a volunteer worker to aid the American Red Cross in their blood drives and enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and wrestling. Council. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Airman Scott attended South Shore High School, New York Community College and spent a year at the New York Institute of Design and Construction. He enlisted in the Air Force in January of 1982 and arrived at Hill AFB in May that year after completing Technical School at Keesler AFB, Miss. Airman Scott is presently an administrative specialist in the CE Orderly Room where he performs a variety of administrative duties. He works with the base soccer team which recently completed the AFLC tournament here. He is also a volunteer worker in the American Red Cross blood drives and is a member of the Airmen's Advisory By A1 C Steven M. McBride u 16-2- 2. observance will feature a Mexican meal served on Sept. 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meal will be served in two locations, Bldg. 849 in the East area and between Bldgs. 1208 and 1209 in the West area. Cost is $3.25 per ticket. Menu will consist of a 10 oz. burrito, beans, rice, and chili yer-d- e with two tortillas, featuring hot sauce. The genuine home-made meals will be catered by the base cafeteria and served by members of the Hispanic committee. in On Sept. 21, a Hispanic Heritage luncheon will be held at the NCO Club from noon to 1:30 p.m. Special speaker will be Donna M. Alvarado, deputy assistant secretary of defense (Equal Opportunity and Safety Policy) at the Pentagon.
