Some of her children surprised her by coming home to help her celebrate it They were Bruce k Carol Thompson of Salt Lake City; Duane & Norma Henrie and two children of Las Vegas, Nevada. She received phone calls from her other children Fenton & Merilyn Thompson of Orangeville, Utah, and Glenn & Linda Thompson of Portland, Oregon. A Turkey dinner was served. Those attending the dinner was Norma nd & Sherrie Gregg & Gaelynn, Reed and Kleda Gillins of Milf ord, Bruce & Carol of Salt Lake City and Duane & Norma Henrie and family of Las Vegas, Nevada. Natalie Henrie stayed for a week with Grandpa & Grandma and they took her back to Las Vegas the following weekend. Maudell Crane, Bobbie James and Velma Patterson returne from an 8 day tour. They visited Nevada; Laughlin, Mesquite Nevada; Lake Havasu, Palm Indio, California, Springs, California and the date festival there. San Diego, California, where they enjoyed visiting the old Hotel Del Coronado, a trip out in the ocean for whale watching, Sea World and other points of entered, a trip to Hjuauna, Mexico, Las Vegas, Nevada and home. It was very cold & windy weather with some rain but it was a very enjoyable trip with a lot of very enjoyable people. Craig & Debbie Patterson from St. George were in town over the weekend to visit family and have Lauren their new daughter, Annette blessed. Maudell the Crane spent weekend in Monroe, Utah, visiting s, Mr. her daughters & Mrs. Robert Rollins and Mr. & Mrs. Morris Nelson. Gene Patterson was home for the weekend from St. George to visit family and attend National Guard drill in Beaver. Al & Lynda Carvalho just returned from a trip to San Diego, California and had a wonderful time. The first time Lynda had been home for her birthday in twenty years, and this one birthday made up for twenty years. We got to be with our Great Grandbaby and enjoyed him for a few hours. And also our two visited that granddaughters Milford a few months ago. We visited two VFW Posts and enjoyed our visits. Lynda's brother put on a beautiful buffet dinner and had lots of friends that Lynda hadn't seen for 16 to 20 years. It was just great We had a wonderful time.
