This compares with the statewide average of $2,560.48. Tiny Daggett School Dtstlrct with only 170 students spent the most per student at $5,303.94. Nebo District In Utah County spent the least at $2,119.10 per student. The spending figures Include expenses for Instruction, administration, and maintenance operation of school transportation, recreation, tort liability, school construction and bond retirement costs. They do not Include school lunch spending. Generally, smaller districts spent more per student because of overhead assoclalted with unfilled classrooms.
