Other Tigers who excelled on defense were Shawn Dalton with 15 tackles, Piete Florence with twelve tackles, Scott Manhard and Mark Yardley with ten tackles respectively. Other galant young men doing their Job on defense were Scott Sullivan, Jobs Dotson, Todd Williams, Evan Rogers and even Roger Rose who made a key tackle after one of his few punts. There were two interceptions, by Mark Yardley and Scott Sullivan, both of which stopped Lincoln County offensive drives. In addition to these turnovers Shawn Dalton, David Gay and Ryan Wunderllch each recovered a fumble. Lincoln County had five turnovers against only two for Milford. The regular season has been completed. The Tigers finished with a 3 record, the best ever.
