REGISTRATION AND CLASS CHANGES Weber State College has been asked by Wilbur Hedrick, Education Officer, to make available to active duty military personnel first opportunity to register for WSC classes per AFR213-1-. REGISTRATION for classes held at Hill AFB will be In Building 460 (Thornton Hall) on: December 1 from 10:00 p.m. Military a.m.-12:0- 0 12:00-4:3- 0 December 8 from 10:00 p.m. - all students. p.m. - all students NOTE: STUDENTS MUST SHOW PROOF OF ACT SCORE BEFORE OBTAINING REGISTRATION APPROVAL FOR ENGLISH AND MATH CLASSES. PREREQUISITE for all sections of ENGL1 101: English ACT score of 16 or above or ENGL1 100 with grade of C-- a.m.-4:3- 0 or above. ALL SECTIONS OF MATH 100, 101 AND 103 WILL BE ASSESSED A $16 PER CREDIT HOUR BASIC SKILL ADDITIONAL TUITION IN ADDITION TO REGULAR TUITION. The second and alia subsequent forms are available at the Cashier's Office at a cost of $5 each. 4 YOU MUST BRING YOUR REGISTRATION RECEIPT WITH YOU IF CLASS CHANGES OR REFUNDS ARE NEEDED. NO CHANGES OR REFUNDS WILL BE MADE WITHOUT IT. When a class cancels, attend any class you wish until January 6 when changesrefunds can be made. It Is the student's responsibility to drop, add or change classes before the third week each quarter. NO CLASS CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED BY WSC THE THIRD WEEK OF CLASS FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 1984. MATRICULATIONNON-MATRICULATIO- matriculated student is one who: a. Submits an Application for Admission Form. fee. b. Pays the $15 application-record- s c. Has taken the ACT test if a new student. (Transfer students with 15 or more credit hours and one English Composition course are not required to take the ACT test). ' d. Submits high school graduation transcripts. e. Has transferred previous college course work with transcripts. A All matriculated students will receive letter grades for the credit completed through WSC. , students will receive creditno-credi- t grades. No more than thirty (30) credit hours grades grades will count toward graduation. Courses completed with creditno-credi- t will not satisfy general education, major or .minor requirements but will be considered elective credit counting toward total hours only.. REFUND PROCEDURE Refunds are made only upon application by the student during class change day held January 6, 1984, from p.m. in Building 368 (Base Education Office) or at WSC Registration Office. The actual refund of money is made the Cashier upon receipt of written authorization. 4 Building , Refunds are made according to the Board of Higher Education andor Institutional Council policies. Refunds for classes taught in an accelerated series are made for any class that has not yet begun of a series. Acceptancerejection letters cannot be substituted for vouchers. Students from other institutions can use grants, loans, or tuition assistance forms as long as some Invoice number is included on the form. APPLICATION FOR ADMISSIONS AND RECORDS Beginning Autumn Quarter 1982, all students registering for credit with Weber State College will be required to complete an Application for Admission Form and to pay a $15 application fee.
