Thomas S. M. Tudor acted as the Assistant Trial Counsel. Captain Krzton said the agent approached Airman Brownlie and asked to purchase a bag of marijuana. The airman agreed to sell him the "pot" and a time was set to deliver the marijuana in a dormitory on base. Following the exchange of marijuana and money, the airman was charged with the offense. "The sad thing about this case is that the airman had three years and 10 months' service with no prior disciplinary problems whatsoever," the captain said, "and now, with only two months left, he gets a bad conduct discharge." An airman stationed here was found guilty of the charge of wrongfully selling marijuana to an OSI Special Agent. Hie charge is a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 134. The military judge, Col. Roger L. Holte, accepted a guilty plea from SrA. Scott Robert Brownlie, 388th EMS, during a special court-martiheld on July 22. Five jury members, consisting of one colonel, one major, one captain and two al second lieutenants, decided on the sentence. The jury heard evidence on Airman Brownlie's behalf through witnesses called by Defense Counsel, Capt. Michael E. Immler, Area Defense Counsel, and Assistant Defense Counsel Capt. Daniel P. Hass. Airman Brownlie was given three months' confinement at hard labor, forfeiture of $150 per month for three months, reduction to airman basic and a bad conduct discharge. Trial Counsel was Capt. William T. Krzton The sentence required agreement by a two-thirmajority of the court membership, so at least four of the five jurors in this case had to agree on the bad conduct discharge. This indicates the seriousness of drug offenses. ds Aug. 9 at 9 a. m. in the Morgan County Fair parade and again at fair Aug. 9 5 p.m. in concert at the - at 9 p.m. in the Band dance NCO Club for a Big Only two could separafe New contract announced v Aug. 10 at 6 p.m. in Salt Lake City's Liberty Park Aug. 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Ogden's Lester Park Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Layton Hills Mall requires their relocation, the government will pay transportation and moving expenses.
