The FOD Trophy is a traveling award which must be earned each month by a deserving squadron within the wing. The squadron earning the trophy the most months during the year retains it permanently at year's end. 388 CRS took the trophy nine out of twelve months in 1979. Monthly recipient of the trophy is chosen by a point system awarded for various FOD inspections, including: quality control (QC) consolidated tool kit (CTK) inspections, QC vehicle inspections, written FOD prevention material (posters, slogans, CRS FOD Fighter, etc.) and attendance at monthly FOD meetings. Points are compiled by TSgt. Otis Hart, 388 TFW-MAthe wing FOD Jy ; ! GD68 B XL-lO-O Administration, "The FOD Prevention Program is really stressed in this squadron.
