"We cut off the age group at the sixth grade because the older students have a tendency to play more than study," he said. The older children are used in the program as aides, teachers and in other useful areas. About half of the program staff will consist of seventh graders to high school students. "The program is used to help understand the spirutual needs of the children and to help them grow as better Christians," the chaplain said.
