We find that we still receive phone calls for the people that were in the building prior to us. I am sure that this must be very frustrating for the person making the call. Dress code on golf course Q A What is the dress code at the golf course? I golfed last week and saw levi cut-off- s and several men in levis and We seem to have this same problem each year tank tops. with dress standards. Proper dress will be adequate cover above and below the waist. No combination which includes any part of the military uniform as outer garments will be allowed. Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times. The following items of outer-wea- r are prohibited on the course: A Thank you for your inquiry concerning a situation that is of concern to many people when an organization moves on Hill AFB. The movement of assigned telephone numbers when an organization moves, however, is a luxury we can ill afford during this period of high priority 6 related installations and other top priority projects. A time standard of 2.6 hours for relocation of each six button telephone has been established by Air Force. This time can be reduced to less than one-ha- lf hour if the phone and number are left in place. The one-ha-lf hour applies when the organization requires minor rearrangement of intercom stations or changing the ring to appear at a different location. Because of the manhours involved to relocate numbers it has been the policy to leave the numbers in place and change only the phone directory. In the move of Bldgs. 1209, 1213 and 1223 there was an estimated manhour savings of 339 hours and a dollar savings of $2,968 resulting from this policy. T-shi- rts Hot pants. (shirts and pants that are not hemmed). The present dress code, as approved by the Golf Committee and Base Commander, has been in effect for three years. As you can see, levis and tank tops are perwith unhemmed bottoms mitted on the course; cut-off- s are not. If, in the future, you see a dress code violation, please contact the starter on duty so we can correct the problem. During the last few months there have been many organizations on the base change buildings. Why can't the Parking" zone. A Q Persons approaching the Tooele Army Depot Railway building from the north cannot see employees entering the mkt Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Supervisory personnel at the Depot were contacted and indicated that vehicles would no longer park in that location but would use the upper parking lot. Also, the Security Police will monitor the area and issue tickets to violators. Salads in base restaurant Q A It is very difficult to find salads in the Base Restaurant located in Bldg. 1235. Also, we would appreciate a good variety of salads rather than just plain lettuce. The Base Restaurant previously had a salad bar in Bldg. 1235 with a wide variety of salads. This bar was closed for lack of use. Maintaining the exact number of right kinds of salad each day is impossible; however, a closer watch will be maintained to keep a good variety on hand. Patrons are invited to notify the waitress on duty when they don't find what they want so it can be made available.
