Don't replace endurance for enjoyment To Snow Basin and Hill's By Garth Scott, Security For all "snow bunnies," in case you haven't heard, the Hill AFB Motor Pool operates a scheduled bus run to Snow Basin every Saturday and Sunday during the ski season. The bus departs the base dining hall parking lot at 9 a.m. each Saturday and Sunday, sloshes its way directly to the Snow Basin Ski Lift where all interested cold bloods are gently deposited into that cold white fluff to fend for themselves. The bus then swishes down to the Hillhaus where it is parked until departure time at 3 p.m. Every half hour a shuttle service is made down the hill to Powder Puff hill utilizing the base services van to bring the faint hearted and frozen back to Hillhaus to thaw and work up courage for another chance at the hill. At 3 p.m. the bus departs from Powder Puff hill and returns the tired and weary back to the dining hall parking lot, arriving at approximately 4:15 p.m. Order of precedence for riding the bus is: - Active Duty Personnel stationed at Hill. - Active Duty Personnel TDY to Hill. 3- - Guests of Active Duty single personnel stationed at Hill. - Police Division From Nov. 15 through Jan. 1, sales of liquor more than double and sometimes triple throughout the state. In announcing the winner, Gen. David C. Jones, Air 120th Fighter Interceptor Group, Great Falls IAP, Mont. Force chief of staff, cited the squadron for its outstanding performance in a difficult environment, an exceptional flying safety record and its the in JAG air Force.
