Show 6 1W HILL TOP TIMES 388th By Sgt. Robert Scott A member of the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing was recently notified of his forthcoming promotion to Chief Master Sergeant. SMSgt. Charles A. Sanders, 388th TFW, was the only 922X0 (Life Support Specialist) selected within Tactical Air Command and one of four selected Air Force wide. Erwin, also of Fort Worth, Noncommissioned the period of Jan. with and they have three children. through Popular Visiting Place During Armed Forces Week During Armed Forces Week last month, the base Military Affiliate Radio System Station (MARS) of the 1881st Communications Squadron at the base had a mobile emergency communications van located at the Weber County Library in nearby Ogden. During the week was a visit jy Stephen A. Dirks, mayor of Ogden, who was briefed on the mission of MARS and how the mobile van could assist the community in emergencies. While at the facility, Mayor Dirks ma do a phone patch. Hill AFB Will Junt During the open house on Hill AFB on May 15, the MARS display station was operated by TSgt. Paul M. Ustic and Sgt. Dennis A. Rohner from the command MARS Station, Richards-Gebau- r AFB, Mo. This facility was visited by nnnrnvim atolv Qfi AAA nsnnl who sent many messages to friends and loved ones and made phone patches. Both display stations were favorites of young people who were interested in the MARS and equipment, amateur radio as hobbies. Activities will begin with Catholic and Protestant church services, followed by an afternoon of games, a picnic fireworks, outdoor movies. The games will include races, a tug of war, a watermelon contest and a horse show, to name a three-legge- d seed-spittin- g few.
