Medical doctors are concerned about overweight people because they are more susceptible to disease and they are poor surgical risks because of having less resistance to infection. Extra fat puts a burden on the heart and heart disease is one of the biggest killers in the United States. The rate of death of overweight persons is eight to 16 per cent greater than for others. 60, 100 118-13- 61 102 62 IDEAL 18-- 20 21-- 26-3- 25 31-- 35 0 30-1- 41 0 M6 150 153 157 1G0 164 120-1- 34 149 153 155 159 1G3 166 103 122-1- 151 155 158 161 165 169 63 104 125-1- 40 155 158 160 164 168 171 64 105 130-1- 159 160 164 168 171 175 65 106 133-1- 48 163 165 169 173 176 180 66 107 135-1- 51 166 170 174 178 181 185 67 111 140-1- 56 171 175 179 183 186 190 68 115 145-1- 61 176 180 184 188 191 195 69 119 151-1- 66 181 185 189 193 196 200 70 123 156-1- 71 186 190 194 198 201 205 POUNDS A WEEK 71 127 160-1- 75 191 195 199 203 206 210 Doctors suggest a nominal one to two pound loss per week.
