Although he held a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, he spent his first year of active duty at the University of California at Los Angeles doing post graduate work in meteorology. His assignments have included duties as chief forecaster, Suffolk AFB, County NY; senior intelligence officer, USAFE Forecast Center in assistant Germany; officer of the operations Special Projects Section of the Air Force Global Weather at Offutt Central AFB, Nebraska; and recently, as advisor Korea, Service, officer, Korea.
