The CCAF is comprised of the seven major Air Force technical schools, working in conjunction with hundreds of civilian colleges and universities around the world. Air Force members can combine technical training or work college courses and in time experience with selected y earn a career education certificate (CEC). This document certifies educational achievement similar to a two-yeassociate arts or associate science degree and is the main off-dut- ar FULLY QUARANTEED FOR AS LONG AS YOU OWN THE TIRE! To earn a CEC in one of the 84 major programs, a participant must complete a minimum of 64 semester hours to include: 24 semester hours of technical education earned through accredited Air Force or civilian schools; semester hours of related education earned from accredited colleges or universities, including courses in the humanities, communicative skills, and the sciences; 24 6 semester hours of management and military science earned throuth accredited Air Force noncommissioned officer academies or civilian schools. Depending upon the complexity of a participant's major study area and recommendations from professional organizations, additional semester hours may be necessary for completing certificate requirements. After earning a CEC, an airman can continue in pursuit of a bachelor's degree or simply use it along with a CCAF transcript when applying for a job. The first step in the CCAF program is to stop by the education services office, ext. 2710.
