A 5-- 1. There are many organizations which, because of the nature of the work and scheduling requirements, could not basis permit changes in work schedules on a wide-scal- e even though it may be more advantageous to some individuals. For example, those organizations having operations must have employees on shifts which will provide for continuous around-the-cloc- k coverage. The present basic day shifts are the most desirable and are compatible with the swing and graveyard shift hours. In those organizations where only one shift is in operation, it may not be feasible to permit some employees to report at times other than the standard shift for various reasons such as supervision not available, access to facilities or buildings limited, or nonavailability of the employee's services at the beginning or end of the shift. Although Hill AFB has not actively involved itself in promoting car pools, car pools are definitely encouraged. The potential to conserve energy and reduce ecological pollution makes car pooling beneficial beyond individual considerations. For this reason the OOAMA Bulletin is made available for persons to advertise car pooling or ride sharing information. Other ideas could be explored and are encouraged. A more formalized car pooling system may be desirable and workable. However, computerizing car pool information may not be feasible. As we face austere manning and funding, other higher priority uses compete for the critical time and availability of our computers. There are some employees who choose not to join car pools for various personal reasons and any imposed system or control could not be universal. Nevertheless, your suggestion has merit and all employees are encouraged to pool and share rides to the maximum. seven-day-per-we- There are problems need crosswalk Q warehouse and Q approximately X a.m. on two days when I reported to building 550 all visitor parking stalls were filled. First, the questionnaires filled out bv students of the Race Relations classes are reviewed by the instructor, the base Race Relations officer and the Social Actions chief before being forwarded to the Ogden AMA commander. Second, all students receive the same questionnaires regardless of their racial or ethnic background and between 85 to 95 per cent of the participants feel that this class will enable them to better understand other people. Third, the instructor's role as discussion leader requires him to use various and sometimes provocative techniques meant to stimulate group interaction. This by no means implies that the instructor has a pronounced persecution complex. For instance, most of the members who have taken the seminar complimented the instructors for a job well done.
