I urge all of our personnel to give generously to the FY 74 Combined The 1974 Combined Federal Campaign has come to Hill AFB. Starting Monday, key men and women will begin contacting their . fellow employees on behalf of 38 health and welfare agencies of the United Fund of Northern Utah, the National Health Agencies and the International Service Agencies. Hill AFB's goal is $218,712. Civilian and military personnel can use three methods for contributing to the once-a-ye- Federal Campaign.' "A prorated goal has been set for Hill Air Force Base which represents an equitable and fair portion of the CFC goal set for all federal agencies in the Northern Utah area. Our goal this year is to solicit 100 percent participation of Hill AFB military and civilian employees with a fair share from everyone in meeting our overall dollar goal. "I request your personal support in promoting the 1974 CFC within your organization and to closely monitor its progress. Col. Steve S. Chag, has been designated as Base Project Officer and will provide additional instructions to you concerning the conduct of the campaign. Combined Federal Campaign? Helping United Fund of Northern Utah, National Health Agencies, and International Service Agencies A lump sum cash donation is the second method. The third method is a confidential donation placed in a sealed envelope furnished by the contributor. This envelope is delivered, without being opened, to the Bank of Utah in Ogden where CFC contributions are deposited and audited. Each contributor has the right to designate how much of his total gift he wants to go to specific agencies with the three major fund groups. A code number and a brief description of each of these agencies is in the CFC folder. Space is provided on the back of the pledge card to enter the agency code number and the amount. "All such designations will be honored when the funds are divided," stated Col. S. S. Chag, Ogden AMA CFC project officer. All contributions which are not designated to specific agencies will be divided among the three major fund groups according to a ratio of 77 per cent United Fund, 12 per cent International Service Agencies and 11 per cent National Health Agencies. Last year, the International received Service Agencies $1,392.82 in designated contributions; the United Fund Agencies National $17,905.03 Health and the Agencies additional $157,787.13 (more page 12) $38,458.50.
