Kimball of Salt Lake City has retired from the Air Force after 31 years of service. the At retirement ceremonies held recently at Hill AFB, the colonel was and Mrs. Glenn Pratt awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for HONEYMOONERS Celebrating the Valentine Season in the very best way possible were newlyweds Bonnie George and Glenn Pratt, who were married Feb. 10 in Riverdale. The Management Ser vices Division honored them with an informal "open house" during the lunch period on Valentine 's Day. The happy couple honeymooned in Elko, Nev., and will reside in Clearfield. Buhler, industrial specialist in the Landing Gear Division, was recently commended for his service as a lieutenant colonel as commander of the 7th Maintenance Squadron. He commanded the squadron from July 1, 1966 to Oct. 15, 1971. He was resented the Air Force Commendation Medal. The citation ' tcompanying the award said in part, Colonel Buhler's outstanding professional skill, knowlege and leadership aided immeasurably in keeping the 7th Maintenance Squadron ready now to perform its assigned mission in support of the United States Air Force." COMMENDED r mil Superior leadership has resulted in special awards for two sergeants assigned to the 1552 Flying Training Squadron. MSgt. William T. Souther and MSgt. Harold Garner were presented Air Force Commendation Medals by Lt. Col. Jesse K. Corder, unit commander. Sergeant Souther was cited for his performance as the NCOIC of the loadmaster section at Clark AB, Republic of Philippines. Sergeant Garner was honored for his performance as the standardization radio operator at Anderson AB, Guam. Both were recognized for their superior leadership, willing accceptance of responsibility, and outstanding -- ' Mr. i and Wendover Air Force Auxiliary Field.
