Col. J. Logan Fagner of the Hill Branch of the Space and Missile Systems Organization (SAMSO). Colonel Fagner, in turn, delivered the facility to Col. Paul F. Siglin, Director of Materiel Management. This ceremony marked the completion of construction started during the spring of this year and gives the Ogden AMA engineers a greatly expanded capability for testing the Minuteman system. The Hill Engineering Test Facility, managed by Lt. Col. C.H. McGuinness, is a major element in the Ogden Air Materiel Area's logistics management resources. This missile-agcomplex provides the Air Force with test and analysis of its most advanced missile systems. Although this facility was initially established to test and evaluate the Minuteman I and II force missiles, the modernization modification had expanded this capability to include Minuteman III also. The donations will be turned over to charitable organizations and needy families in the area.
