Covering 351,327 acres, located approximately 50 Companion accelerators are installed in the Minuteman maintenance shops at Hill AFB. A small cadre of 2705th personnel is stationed at the facility at all times for housekeeping, guard and other activities. "The cadre is rotated from time to time. During test periods, technicians are sent from Hill AFB to the range by helicopter or vehicle and brought back when the test period is over.
