A new twist to presenting the "big picture", was a three-hou- r play at the. base theatre. The play, consisting of 20 scenes, presented the concurrency concept of logistics and many ,other factors that make up a "weapon systeijn. Featured actors in the play; were 1st Lt. Max Jones and Trui dy Evans. The theatrical production went over big with the young cadets. There was time for fun in the packed schedule of events. Each group had its night at Lagoon, complete with rides on the ferris wheel and miniature golf. Saints Tours of the Latter-da- y Temple grounds, an organ concert in the tabernacle, dining out with base officers and their families, sightseeing in Salt Lake City and church services rounded out the activities of the cadets. The cadets showed onlookers that they are the cream of the crop of America's young men. As a sample, there was competition among each group of cadets arriving at Hill AFR aboard a Globemaster. One group vied against the others to see which could unload the fastest and march off to their billets. The unloading brought a mo ment of comic relief when one embarrassed young man dropped a flight bag and scattered books, papers and articles beneath the underside of a Globemaster. His buddies came to his aid and they had the bag shipshape again in a matter of moments. There were cadets from the area among the two groups. They included Alan It. Daines, Paul J. Larsen and George F Van Wagenen of Utah ; Joseph C. Holbrook, Henry E. Kronbach, Daniel G. Robinson and Alan O. Williams, Idaho; Charles J. Kowalchuk and Michael O. Ryan, Nevada, and Stephen E. llalsey, John II. Faul II. Dimmick and Charles B.
