It further covered lowship in 1930-3his duties as an official in the LDS church and also brought out his singing hobby as an officer in the Swiss Chorus Edelweiss. Capt. (Doc) Joseph A. Neal received an offer to become a regular medical officer, and Majors Robert K. Butler and Gerald T. Hamilton received their regular permanent majority. Capt. Neal is assigned as the flight surgeon to the 4677th DSES and supports their high altitude flying capability, examining all crews (known as the Black Knights) before and after their Maj. She was selected as queen of the Sarah Coventry Jewelry Company of Utah at a banquet in Salt Lake City. She was also selected as "Queen for a Day" on the TV program and has many memories of her reign. Lois McGavin resigned recently to await the arrival of the stork. Lois was shift supervisor of the Key Punch unit. Sympathy was extended to the family of Ruth Palmer, clerk in Base Support Division, who passed away a couple of weeks ago. Ruth had worked for Base Support for over 10 years. Marvin Allgood and family took a trip to Southern Utah to keep an eye on some oil leases. . . . Evelyn Crump and husband traveled to Las Vegas for a holiday. . . . Walt Broschinsky is enjoying the role of grandfather these days as his son and daughter-in-laare here from Texas with his new grandson. Grace, who has over 21 years of government service, resigned recently to marry Robert Rader and take up duties of housewife at Spooner, Wisconsin. Grace, who worked in the Engineering Technician Operation and Support Branch, 2705th Airmunitions Wing, was also guest of honor at a party held at the Plantation.
