Twining, chief of staff, USAF: "On September 18, 1947 just eight years ago the United States Air Force became an independent service and a partner in this nation's defense establishment. We have passed many milestones since then the Berlin airlift, Korea, the Development of new air weapons and supersonic airplanes, and finally the creation of striking forces with global mobility. As our capability has grown, the people of this nation and the free world have developed great faith in our strength. Their faith is the basis for the nation's reliance on air power as the principal means of keeping us safe and free. Every member of the Air Force team military and civilian has good reason to be proud of our progress. Our accomplishments have resulted from your initiative, perseverance, and loyalty. The future may call for even greater effort. I am confident that we will meet the test." full-fledg- ed air-atom- When a women is temperamental, it is about 90 temper and 10 mental.
