L Currently tied for second spot The first civilian employee at Hill AFB to complete one of the correspondence courses currently being offered by the Air University, USAF Extension Course Institute, received his diploma, recently. He is William J. Bishel, crew chief in the fire department, who is now in possession of a diploma stating that he is a graduate of the I "Fire and Aircraft Crash Rescue Officer course." Mr. Bishel is one of 834 civilian employees taking the correspondence courses from the Air University at Gunter Air Force Base, Ala bama, according to Dick Orrock, training. These courses were first offered last October. The course completed by Mr. Bishel required 1"0 hours. Bishel has worked at Hill AFB since 1912 and resides at 1930 Brinker Avenue. Many valuable correspondence courses are available, Orrock said. To take advantage of these courses, employees must work for the Air Force and the course they take must be in line with their present work. Some of the courses offered are Wm. J.
