Paul's family consists of seven cmldren all boys! When the stork arrived with a new delivery just two months ago, he brought just what the Lindeman's had hoped for: blonde-heade- d another boy. Lindeman's lineup of blue-eyeboys consists of Russell, 13; Edward, 11; Brian, 8;( Wayne, 7; Eldon, 5; Mark, 2; and baby Carl. Big news in the Stork circle is the announcement of twins born to Mr. and Mrs. Roland L. Hill. Hill, Lindeman a technician in the evaluation branch of UR control office, is still floating around in the clouds. The new duo will be named Mary Jane and Patrick Stephen. Looking for a suitable name for a brand new daughter is Max L. Muir, chief of accessory section, inspection division. The new baby makes three daughters for the Muirs . , ... A baby boy was added to the family of Charles E. Woodbury, misc. repair branch, aircraft subdivision. The new baby, , to be named Vern Warren, has two older sisters age 4 and 6 years. FUNFESTS A gathering of the clan in the mountains east of Bountiful was held by members of the synthetic trainer shop a few nights ago. With branch foreman Jerry Jensen starting a red hot softball game, the party was off and running at six o'clock. Beulah Cook and Gwenn Young s, with all the trimmings enjoyed by the hungry arranged the synthetic bunch. Things were really rolling at the canyon party when the highlight of the evening, the "programme" was presented. Written and produced by Hf J. Theriault, the skit made a big hit with the audience, according to reports. Starred in the production were "Bridegroom"' Wally Turnbow, "Bride Moonbeam" Charles Wittenbreaker, "Mammy" Lloyd Jensen, 'Judge" Gerry Johnson, Jilted Lover" Albert Turner, and "Baby" Dale Swan. The swing shift of packing unit, supply, reports a very successful picnic held at Como Springs. In addition to all kinds of "eats", packing unit personnel enjoyed swimming, bowling, dancng and softball. Vonda Talbot, crew chief of the camera line, corrosion control section, was surprised with a small birthday party at noontime which featured a birthday cake and gift for the guest of honor. : d, : . He completely encases in plastic such items as photographs, important papers, cards, etc. "With this process they always keep that "new look", Crowther says. Douglas Anderson, corrosion control, took his few days with pay to catch up on some fishing in Idaho. All the wonders of Yellowstone were enjoyed by Lola Mae Argyle, management branch, and also by another supply worker, Floyd Howell. June Solberg, management branch, supply, travelled to the state of Washington to visit with relatives. Personnel from base supply division, warehouse 3C, are exchanging small talk about the various merits of new places they visited. Millie Hill and husband just returned from a three week vacation to the southeastern states, June Russell visited relatives in Colorado and Kansas, Lu Juana Beck, took a trip to the East, and Theone Hunter also chose the east for vacation fun. Vacation travels for service stock "A" personnel had them seeing sights in many varied places. Fred Jensen went deep sea fishing at Coon Bay, Oregon; Gwen Greenwell inspected the craters of the Moon and Sun Valley; Colorado drew Nellie Cark and Ida Double as tourists; Izora Bedsaul's tour included New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Tennessee; while Belle Johnson took a looksee at Utah's southern parks and Marion Shinny, Helen Johnson, Clifford Cave, and Colleen Kingsford ' went Yellowstone way. Carol "Tony" Porcelli, of the prop shop, and wife, Myrl, of Supply, from a coastal trip of which the highlight was a swim just returned in the ocean at Longbeach. Ross invites everyone to attend this spectacle. Ross, who lives at 2826 Quincy Avenue, Ogden, has been an enthusiastic booster of VFW affairs for the last ten years. He was formerly the Utah Senior Vice Commander and a past post commander of Cpl. Fred J. Grant Post 1481 in Ogden. Glen Poison from the prop shop, tells us about Inspector Robert Blain who heard of a place in Utah he hadn't been and so cranked up the family car to give the place a looksee. Somehow or other he got side tracked and ended up in Colorado. Blain is the fellow who gives out with some mighty good fishing tips, according to Poison. Blain swears he knows of a fishing spot where the fish are so eager to bite, you have to stand behind a tree to bait your hook. M Ross' was re- Ross cently voted in to the high office of Utah Commander of Veteran of Foreign Wars. With a special office set up in the State Capitol building in Salt Lake City, Ross rules over the approximately 2,000 VFW members in the State of Utah. The Utah club won the right to lead the convention parade by showing' the largest percentage increase in membership during the last year. "Marching at the head of 52 delegations, who represent each state in the union and several territories, is a new experience for the Utah boys. Last year they marched in 52nd place and vowed to lead the parade this year, 'Ross said.
