At HUI AFB 7 South-SAHA- RA 83-J-- 2 EVERY DAY VILLA fun The formation of three new Reserve Units at Hill Air Force Base was announced this week by the Air Reserve Training Branch. The new organizations will include the headquarters for . the 953rd Transportation group, the 953rd Transportation squadron and the 78th Statistical Services flight. All units will be part of an air depot wing made up of units from all over the West. According to Captain John E. Dayhuff, chief of the Air Reserve Training Branch, these support type units will have a total starting complement of 14 officers and 68 airmen. Personnel will be trained at Hill Air Force Base. Enlistment in the, U. S. Organized Air Reserve for duty with these new outfits is limited toymen between the ages of 17 and 35 who are physically qualified and who were not granted delay in recall to active duty at any previous time for any reason. Any person wishing to enlist in the reserve for with these units should live induty the Ogden and Salt Lake City area so that they may regularly attend training meetings at Hill Air Force Base, Capt. Dayhuff said. While there, is no flying anticipated for these personnel, the ground training they will receive is second to none and the opportunities for advancement will be excellent, he stated.
