The unit received an order on 12 for July 1LII v) material which had to be accumulated from 10 different classes, and which required the efforts of hundreds of workers to fill before the date requested for Three days after the original or der was received, instructions were sent to disregard the August 1 deadline and ship all material as quickly as possible. A commendation sent by teletype from General Frank said: "It is desired to express the appieciation of this headquarters for your co operation and expeditious handling lof . . .
