THE 1952 NOTICE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT SIDEWALK ANDOR CURB & GUTTER All property owners in Nephi City who desire sidewalk andor curb and gutter in front of their property should immediately initiate a petition directed to the Nephi City Council, City Hall, Nephi, Utah to that effect. Less than a full continuous block of either cannot be included Signers should include at least 50 per cent of the abutting footage in the blocks. All on or before Nov. 12, 1952 will be considered and the property included in the District for construction in early spring, 1953. Estimated costs are S2.85 for curb and gutter and $1.10 for sidewalk, per linear foot. Under special improvement the owners have 10 years to pay their assessments, in 10 annual Installments. After the Notice of Intention has been published all owners have the right of protest. A party honoring Clarence and Virginia Gowers will be held in the Third Ward recreation hall on Saturday, November 1st. Clarence has been serving as a counselor in the Third Ward Sunday School superintendency and in the Choir, and Virginia has been working in the Relief Society. These organizations are combining their efforts to give the Gowers a good send-of- f to their new field of labor. A good program has been arranged and all their friends are invited to attend.
