Bishop LeGrande Mangelson, Clarence Paystrup, Clair Collard and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Wood were among the general conference visitors in Salt Lake City. Mr, and Mrs. Garth Shepherd and daughters, and Mr. and Mrs Basil Shepherd of Salt Lake City were guests on Sunday at the home of Mr .and Mrs. G. L. Shep herd. James Anderson returned home Sunday from the Payson hospital where he spent the past week re ceiving medical treatment. The Levan Ward Relief Society is sponsoring a social in the Relief Society hall on Tuesday, October 10th In honor of the retiring president, Viola Shepherd, and some of the class leaders and all of the visiting teachers. A program has been arranged and every lady of the ward is urged to be present. Delwin Shepherd, who is stationed at Fort Lawton, near Seattle Washington, came home for a few days to get his wife and family, who will make their home in Washington while Delwin is stat ioned at that Fort. Mrs. Homer Shepherd and baby and Mrs. Mont Shepherd left on Monday for Fort Hood, Texas to join their husbands, who are stationed there with the National Guard.
