Show Milner - home. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Runar Slotte, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence MacNeil, Mr. and Mrs. Norman MacNeil, Mrs. C. J. MacNeil, Mrs. Mary Slotte, Mr. Ray, Mr. Milner and the hostesses. The occasion honored hon-ored Mrs. Runar Slotte and Clarence Clar-ence MacNeil, sister and brother to the hostesses, on their birthday birth-day anniversaries. Larry and Marjorie Sax spent Monday evening visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred McPhee and family, Lynn and Sharon, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. E. Paul Combs of Anchorage, Anchor-age, Alaska, has been visiting her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen at their home in Copperton the past week and left for Walden, Colo., for a week's visit with friends, returning to Copperton June 6th for another week's stay. Mrs. Combs visited in Fresno, Calif., before coming to Copper-ton Copper-ton with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Burt and with Mr. Combs' brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Giles Combs. Several parties and visits have been planned for Mrs. Combs. Among them dinner at the A. J. Bobergs of Sandy, refreshments re-freshments at the E. V. Knudsen home Sunday evening, dinner at the Ambassador Club in Salt Lake City guests of the Jay Smarts, dinner at the Paprika guests of Mr. and Mrs. George ten's in Salt Lake City while in the company of Mr. and Mrs. McDougal of Taylorsville. After dinner and a lovely ride, they returned to the McDougal home for late refreshments. Spending Wednesday .night, May 22, and Thursday, May 23, at the Holiday Motel in Salt Lake City were twelve Bingham High graduates. They were Bobbie Bob-bie Lee Johnson, Joyce DeCol, Diane Reed, Barbara Brown, Joan Cowdell, Joan Johnson, Rena Joy Coleman, Peggy Peterson, Peter-son, Jeanne Sanchez, Sharlene Foster, Marilyn Ball, Louise Watts and Rose Kawa. The girls went swimming in the motel swimming pool Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Davis and son, Ricky, of Standardville were Monday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson and family. Enjoying bowling in Salt Lake City Friday afternoon were Joyce DeCol, Maxine Garrett, Barbara Brown and Joan Johnson. Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson and family, Bobbie Bob-bie Lee and Johnny, were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lundberg and children, Ruth, Max, Karen, Ma-rice, Ma-rice, Dale and Glen. Mrs. Harold Gee and Mrs. Clyde Olsen visited at the J. W. Johnson home Saturday night. Joyce DeCol, Barbara Brown and Joan Cowdell spent an en- i'oyable evening visiting Bobbie ..ee Johnson Friday night. Following the Bingham Junior High promotion exercises last Thursday evening. May 23, Marian Mar-ian Murano held a very fine party at her home. Those in attendance at-tendance were Claudia Murano, Linda Brisk, Linda Long, Linda Smernoff, Bonnie Harker, Nancy Crellin, Peggy Blake, JoAnn Le-Pore, Le-Pore, Pearl Milner, David Stocks, Roy C. Hatch, Harold Susaeta, J. D. Hawks and Richard Johnson. John-son. Lovely refreshments were served and everyone had a delightful de-lightful time. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Poulsen and daughter, Kathy, spent Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday in Fair-view Fair-view and Mt. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Butterfield of Bellflower, Calif., visited with friends in Copperton on Monday, May 27th. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Gust and son, Don, attended the Kearns Junior High School graduation exercises held in the new LDS Stakehouse at Kearns last Thursday Thurs-day night. Mr. and iMrs. Gust's grandson, Lee Sturgill, was a member of the graduating class. 98 were promoted during the exercises. Mrs. Jim Hill of Portland, Ore. is visiting with her son and daughter-in-law,, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Sturgill and family of Kearns. She is ajso visiting with friends and relatives in Salt Lake City and Bingham. Mrs. Hill's grandson, grand-son, Drake Sturgill will return with her to Portland to spend the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Jensen returned Sunday, May 26, from a lovely ten-day vacation (to Los Angeles, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Long and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Malan enjoyed a tasty dinner at Brat- Knudsen, luncheon and theatre party in Salt Lake City given by Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen. puest of 'Mrs. Willard Nichols as one of those making the tour of the "hill" with luncheon at the LDS Wardhouse on Saturday and Mrs. Grace Jones of Salt Lake City entertained at a buffet supper Wednesday evening. Other invitations invi-tations have been extended Mrs. Combs following her trip to Colorado and she will visit in Spokane and Seattle, Wash., before be-fore returning to Anchorage. Monday, May 27th, the Larks, Trekkers and Blazers of the Copperton Primary held a party for their mothers. An enjoyable program was presented after which lovely refreshments were served. Spending an enjoyable evening even-ing together Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Foster were Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Winn of Midvale, Mr. and Mrs. Wynne Foster and daughters, Christine, Kathy and Debra Sue, of Kearns and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Foster of Salt Lake City. Mrs. E. V. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Williams and family, Beverly Wright, Dorothy Garrett, Joyce Jackson and La-Dean La-Dean Ham. Mr. and Mrs. Don Stoddart and son, Jimmy, visited with relatives rela-tives in Logan and Providence over the week end. The Gleaner girls of Copperton Ward MIA enjoyed Tuesday evening ev-ening swimming at Saratoga. Marjorie Lou Wilcox, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wilcox Wil-cox of Midvale, has been spending spend-ing a few days visiting at the home of 'Mr. and Mrs. iRay Olsen and daughters, Karen and Cher-ri. Mr. and Mrs. James Fike entertained en-tertained at theeir home after graduation exercises at Bingham High School Wednesday evening, May 22, for the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Art Fike and son, Bill, Mrs. Kenneth Davis of Midvale, Mid-vale, Mrs. Gladys O'Connor of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Bianchi and son, Denny, and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Fike of Bingham.
