Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Peterson visited one day last week at Nephi ' with Peter Peterson who Is in the rest home. I Sheldon and Helen Christensen spent Tuesday and Wednesday with Sheldon's mother, Mrs. Edna Christensen. Chris-tensen. Wednesday they returned ; to their home at Bountiful taking t their sons, Clay and Earl home with them. Mr. Louis Schoenberger returned ; home Thursday evening after having spent the past two weeks1' ati Boise, Idaho with Ross and Ivanell Humphries. Paula Black, who has spent the school year at Logan is now at home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Black. What a wind storm we had Saturday. Sat-urday. It really did a lot of damage dam-age to the hay crop also blew several trees down. On some farms it just took the hay that was in the rows waiting to be baled and cleaned the fields clean. Reports are that the wind was between 70 and 80 miles per hour. Max and Anne Jensen and son Ken of Salt Lake spent the week end with parents, Axel and Blanche Jensen. Congratulations to parents Chad and Joan Anderson on the arrival of their first child, a daughter born at Ogden. Also to grandparents, Ike and Phyllis Anderson and Dell and Barbra Ashby. Mr. Louis Schoenberger spent Friday at Fillmore vissiting with friends and relatives. Craig Black, son of Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Black was one of the youths from our stake who sang in the All-Church All-Church Choral Festival at the Special Events Center, University of Utah on June 26-27. This was part of June Conference. Waldo and Dora Black visited Salt Lake Friday to hear the choral festival and they mentioned how inspirational inspira-tional it was. 4,000 youths from 250 stakes participated. We are all real proud of Craig. Keep up the good work. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Western and daughter of Midvale spent the weekend with Douglas' mother, Mrs. Luella Western. Don and Julie DaGrade and two daughters, Michele and Stacy, are visiting in Delta for the summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Chesley. Mr. DaGrade received re-ceived his doctorate in music from the University of Indiana last month. For the past two years they have made their home in Monroe, Mon-roe, La., where he was teaching. Miss Bennion is the daughter of Mr. Sterling Bennion, Delta. During her leave as head of the Foods and Nutrition Dept. at BYU Miss Bennion has made several trips to Washington, D. C. where she has conferred with Pres. and Mrs. Nixon on nutrition of underprivileged underprivi-leged people. She also filled an assignment at Berkley, Calif, on nutrition. While there she met her uncles, Grant and Lynn Bennion, both of San Francisco for a visit. Her sister, Erma Jean Rollins and Erma Jean's daughter, Lujean, of Orem flew to Calif, to visit with Marion and enjoy a tour of San Francisco in company with Wanda Boyack Harmon and her husbad.
