( I -THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 1970 Utahn Heads Presbytery The Rev. Earl Seymour Fox, pastor pas-tor of the Presbyterian Church in Brigham City, was elected Moderator Modera-tor of the Colorado-Utah Synod June 22, 1970, at the Stated Meeting Meet-ing of Synod held in Greeley, Colo. He will serve in this office until the close of the 1971 Synod gathering gather-ing in Pueblo, Colorado, at which time the state of Colorado will celebrate the Centennial of Pres-byterianism Pres-byterianism in that State. Fox was one of the chief "architects" "archi-tects" of the Cooperative Christian Ministry as it Is now functioning in southwestern Utah, and of which the Delta Commuity Church is a part, and, a leader in yoking of two sets of churches in south-central Utah, off of which was done in his capacity as chairman of National Missions in the Presbytery of Utah. The new moderator came to Brigham City ten years ago from a pastorate in Boulder City, Nev. Previous to that he served pariishes in Mesa, Arizona; Baltimore, Maryland; Mary-land; and East Orange, New Jersey. Utah Presbytery was a part of Colorado Synod in the late 1880's. It eventually severed that connection, connec-tion, and until two years ago had been a part of three other synods in turn. It returned to the Colorado area January 1, 1969. The last Utahn to serve as Moderator of Colorado, Synod was the Rev. C. M. Parks, in 1883. The Brigham City minister's commitment com-mitment to ecuminism is also evident evi-dent in the Cooperative Ministry Council which he helped setup in his own community, wherein the Methodist, Lutheran, and Presbyterian Presby-terian churches are experimenting in a "cluster" ministry. In common, the three congregations have a weekly paper, youth program, fellowship fel-lowship program, nummer union services, and, come September 15 will have a single Church School. The Synod of Colorado-Utah includes in-cludes 155 churches with 60,000 comunicant members. LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO WATER USERS Robert F.
