Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielson and children went to Fountain Greene Christmas day to visit relatives. Wendell Nielson flew home from Fort Leonardwood, Mo., to be with his wife, Jo and baby and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielson and family, and Mrs. Dorothy Dam-ron Dam-ron and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson and family of Salt Lake spent Tuesday in town visiting friends. Ellen Best of Provo is home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Best. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Crabb called their parents Mr. and Mrs. Archie Barben Christmas Day from Brookings, Brook-ings, Oregon where they were spending the holiday with Wayne's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Helsel. The Gordon Barben Bar-ben family came back to Delta Saturday and returned to their home in Idaho Falls Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Barben en tertained family members at a dinner Saturday at their home. Those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Bennett, Desereit; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Barben and four children, Marysvale; Mr., and Mrs. Gordon Barben and two children chil-dren and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stewart and two children. He says the hunting and fishing are simply simp-ly fabulous in Alaska. Coming from Phoenix, Ariz, for the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. i Darrell Scow and daughter, Lisa Gaye. Seventeen family members were at the Lee Wilsons' far Christmas dinner. Here were Jay and Barbara Wilson and two children of Pay-son; Pay-son; Leon and Sherry and family of Salt Lake and Max and Irene Christensen and children of Boise, Idaho. The Rookette Club held its holiday holi-day party at the City Cafe recently. recent-ly. After a caudlelit supper gifts were exchanged. Thirteen members attended. New officers are Sarah Jo Louder, president and Karen Redd, secretary. Dinner was served to 17 people and they all enjoyed a good visit. Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Stoddard spent Saturday in Salt Lake on business. Misses Kathy and Debra Stoddard traveled to Salt Lake Saturday to attend a ward reunion reun-ion of former employees and members mem-bers in Washington, D. C. The reunion re-union was conducted by Grace MacAlpine in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Pamela Peterson of Salt Lake has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Leniore McCall and family. Sunday Pamela had her baby daughter blessed and given the name of Carla Jan Peterson by the baby's grandfather, Mr. Carlyle Peterson in the 2nd Ward. Miss Kristine Hansen, student at BYU, Provo, is spending the Christ mas holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hansen and faimily. The Ronald Wright family entertained enter-tained at Christmas dinner at their home for Helen's parents, Mr. and Mrs.i Anderson of Oak City, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wright and Mr. and Mrs. Kent (Betty Rae) Tucker and son, Jeffery of Ogden and Miss Ann Wright who has employment in Ogden. They had a fine visit and delicious dinner together. Mrs. Walter Wright just recently returned home from a 10 day visit in Northridge, Calif., with her daughter, the Verue Theobald (Shirley Wright) family. Those visiting at the Lee Wan-kier Wan-kier home for Christmas were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence H. Warner, parents par-ents of Kathleen Wankier, her brother, Mr. Bob Warner and two children of Nephi and Mrs. Lois Larsen of Provo and Lee's father, Mrs. Arvil Wankier of Levan and Miss Nan Wankier, student at the Salt Lake Trade Tech, in the cosmetology cos-metology department. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wankier traveled travel-ed to Provo Saturday to attend the wedding reception of one of Lee's nieces. Mr. Paul Theobald and Mr. Ted Nielson returned home from Las Vegas (where they are working at the present time) last week to spend Christmas with their families here. ! Army is visititng at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Damron with his wife and baby son, Jo and Butch. The George Ekins spent Christmas Christ-mas up north with their children. Rodney Wright made the new decorations for the Main Street. Many, many thanks to him. He made pretty little trees which required re-quired many hours of work.
