Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Nielson were Miss Mary Steff onsen and their son, Val who are students at SUSC. Also a grandson, Brett, who spent the past week visiting his grandparents. Beth took him home to Nephi on Monday and visited Mr. and Mrs. Eric Nielson and another son. Mr. and Mrs. Junius Anderson and Kevin and Mr. George Anderson Ander-son made a trip to Salt Lake recently re-cently to visit Laurel Prisby at the Cottonwood Hospital. Her recovery re-covery is slow and she will be there for sometime yet. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Nielson were their son, Lane and his fiancee, Miss Barbara Reeve of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pratt visited visit-ed over the weekend at St. George with their children, Dale and La-Rita La-Rita who are attending school at Dixie College and other relatives in that area and to do some deer hunting. The High Priests of the Ward had charge of Sacrament meeting. Bp. Lyman Finlinson and Dwainj Finlinson were the speakers. It s very nice to hear from our own ward members. Mrs. Belva Jones had a bad fall and hurt her back. She was taken! to West Millard Hospital for observation obser-vation and treatment. Our best' wishes are extended to her for a speedy recovery. The History of Oak City has been completed and sent to Salt Lake for compiling and will soon be sent to the printers and anyone l .... . : , I . . .Purchasing Department people Spending millions of dollars to buy thousands and thousands of items every year to help produce copper in Utah takes real expertise. It's a big job by any standards. But 20 Purchasing Department people take justifiable pride in getting the right item to the right place at the right time. Catalogs, price lists, training courses, computers and data processing? Sure! But Kennecott people also rely heavily on keen judgment and experience. Lynn-Leem k'eivs LAURA BRADFIELD Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse kept a den l ist appointment in Payson and went to Provo to visit Greg ad his roommates. They went to Scipio Sunday to visit Nola's sister and husband, Walt and Ruby Esklund Last week, Lawrence and I, Laura Ann and Ruby and Mable Gray went to Bountiful to Don's home to celebrate Lawrence's 29th birthday. Joining us there were wishing to order one or more should have their orders in immediately to Bp. Dean Anderson accompanied accompan-ied by the money or a downpay-ment downpay-ment so they will know how many copies to have printed. It is a centennial book and has so many interesting stories as well as facts about the colonization and up to the present time. Mrs. Cheryl Roper has had a turn at West Millard Hospital as a patient. I hope she is feeling better and wil soon be able to be out again. Miss Hazel Christensen of Salt Lake visited from Friday until Mon day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Christensen. Willard is suffering suf-fering with another cold. Hope when the weather warms up he will feel better. Mrs. Melissia Jacobson has improved im-proved and has just recently re turned from Salt Lake where she ; visited her sister, who is seriously ill after suffering a stroke. . . - ' - ' - ifr Kent and Rayma and Russell of Salt Lake and Jay, Lois and boys of Grantsville. We went to the zoo This Is The Place Monument, Temple Tem-ple Square and other places of Interest. In-terest. We surely miss LaWrcne on these family get-togethers. But Logan is too far. This week Lawrence Law-rence went to Grantsville to hunt with Jay and Don. It was too cold and stormy to do much hunting. The girls and I visited Rayma and Lois and families. LaWrene came to Salt Lake, also. Margie Greathouse returned from a two weeks vacation in Calif, with her daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Elliot of Milford visited with Mr. and Mrs. Clead Nielson last week. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Nielson last week was Marilyn's sister and family of Seattle, Wash. Mrs. Phil Nielson and girls visited in Enterprise over the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar La-mar Huntsman. Robert Barrett, son of William and Varda Barrett of Bountiful is visiting with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oxel Johnson before leaving on a mission to the South British mission. Russell and Rex Finlinson and Mr. arid Mrs. Neil Finlinson and children of Las Vegas, visited with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walker Finlinson Fin-linson over the weekend. Dale Finlinson and two boys were dow from Salt Lake with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Welby Finlinson. They came to hunt deer with their father and brother, Arlyn. Marsha Hanson Johnson of Salt Lake visited with her mother, Car-ma Car-ma Hanson while all the men went hunting. Mr. and Mrs. LaForge Lovell had all their family home, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Lovell and daughter of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Lovelll and son and Sylvan Lovell of Logan.
